A sprawling double album, it features some of the band’s longest and most ambitious tracks, blending their signature galloping riffs with epic storytelling. Themes of mortality, history, and mythology run deep, highlighted by Bruce Dickinson’s soaring vocals and Steve Harris’ intricate bass work. The album includes “Empire of the Clouds,” the longest Iron Maiden song ever recorded, telling the tragic tale of the R101 airship disaster.
